Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor famous for her character Bo in The Showcase Series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. She's the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a kid. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto in her quest to act and progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. They got married the year 2009 and wed with a civil ceremony December of the same year. They renewed their vows on the 10th of April in Fredericton in the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. The Canadian drama Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to the viewers in the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she is ready to resume her work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved television Couples.
